Objectives : Information systems (IS) today make up one of a company’s most important components (also for organisations in general) and allow them to operate while recording and exchanging information. The media for storing and exchanging information is largely computerised today, but the design for IS must result from a consideration of the company’s organization, in relation with its strategies. Its value depends on the way the company makes use of it and its appropriation by the company’s actors.
This learning track's objective is to bring concepts to students which will allow them to participate in and carry out an “Information System” project within a company, while taking into consideration all the managerial (strategic and organizational dimensions) and technical aspects (communication and computer hardware and software).
