Objectives : The objective of this study track is to develop know-how in the area of distributed systems architecture, modeling and engineering. We cover the range from middleware to services delivered to the users. This study track integrates both the point of view of networks and computer science. It covers the presentation of technological components and algorithms for building distributed systems as well as the modeling and engineering of such systems. The main trends in the area of GRID computing, peer-to-peer and mobile computing is addressed.
